Jay-J and Miguel Migs serve up two discs of funky beats and soul-saturated vocals. Jay-J delivers a powerhouse of quality taking it back to the original sounds of house music with jazz-tinged grooves and a unique San Francisco style. With definite international influences, this disc carries strong sounds of R&B, remixed reggae tunes and Latin drum lines. It switches halfway through towards the commercial side. Migs takes us into summer with sexy, deep drums and light, airy melodies. More atmospheric, with lots of layered beats riddled with cool effects, sampled vocals, deep psychedelic bass lines, and Latin strings, a true Northern California deep house sound comes through.
